Newton

Andor 's Newton range of cameras is designed for the most demanding applications. Newton cameras have low readout and dark noise, fast readout (up to 3MHZ), thermoelectric cooling down to -100°C, which provides the best signal-to-noise ratio. A wide choice of high quantum efficiency sensor types, including an EMCCD version, makes them suitable for a wide range of spectroscopic applications.

Newton CCD - thanks to a wide range of sensors ( front illuminated , back illuminated ), these are versatile cameras for spectroscopy in the UV to NIR region combining high sensitivity and speed. With a pixel size of 26 µm, the Newton 920 series achieves a high dynamic range and the Newton 940 series is suitable for applications requiring high spatial/spectral resolution thanks to its 13.5 µm pixel.

Newton EMCCD - Highly sensitive detectors that, thanks to EMCCD technology, can detect weak signals in the UV to NIR region at the level of units of photons.

Solis software

For control of Andor cameras and spectrographs we supply dedicated Andor Solis software. In addition to the standard parameters, for example "binning" and "crop mode" can be set in various combinations. In addition, preset schemes are available within the OptAcquire function for specific applications. SDK libraries are also available
