SR fibre spectrometer

The Ocean SR series includes versatile spectrometers for the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared regions of the spectrum, featuring small size, robust optoelectronics and modularity. For each model, the end user can select the input slit width (5 µm to 200 µm) to influence the overall spectral resolution and signal throughput.

The Ocean SR series spectrometers replace the older Flame series.

Three subgroups of Ocean SR spectrometers are distinguished according to the detector used:

  • SR2 with high acquisition speed and excellent signal-to-noise ratio, 2098 px, integration time 1 µs to 2 s.
  • SR4 with good sensitivity and good temperature stability, 3648 px, integration time 3.8 ms to 10 s
  • SR6 with high sensitivity and excellent temperature stability, 2048 px, integration time 7.2 ms to 5 s
