CleanTop anti-vibration optical tables

Optical tables, also known as anti-vibration tables, are the basis of any laboratory or workplace where sensitive instruments are used and where it is necessary to isolate the application from mechanical vibrations, which are ubiquitous today and which are incompatible with applications in the micrometer or nanometer range. TMC CleanTop optical tables are among the world's top performers in terms of workmanship, materials used and, of course, the resulting anti-vibration parameters.

781 Laboratory CleanTop series of optical tables for industrial applications, this is the version with nominal broadband damping.

783 Scientific CleanTop series of universal optical tables suitable for most sensitive applications especially for scientific applications, the table tops have standard broadband damping.

784 Research CleanTop series of optical tables for the most demanding applications requiring the highest possible isolation and vibration damping, table tops are maximally damped with broadband dampers

790 ClassOne CleanTop series of optical tables for ISO 5 (Cleanroom 100) and ISO 7 (Cleanroom 1000) cleanrooms. The all-steel construction is cleaned into two hermetic packages after production so it can be placed directly into the cleanroom without risk of contamination.

710 CleanTop series of non-magnetic tables where 316 stainless steel is used for production. Other materials can be used on request.

Parameters

  • Steel honeycomb core with a maximum cell size of 3.5 cm2 in direct contact with the top and bottom plates, which ensures optimal thermal properties and minimizes plate twisting due to temperature differences
  • Honeycomb core density min. 230 Kg/m3
  • The all-celled construction meets the requirements for use in cleanrooms according to the cleanromm 10000 standard as standard
  • Flatness of the top ±0.13 mm over the entire length of the table (also applies to 4.8 m long table)
  • 5 mm thick steel top and bottom plate

  • Broadband "dry" vibration damping (technology that minimizes the amplitude of vibrations that reach the table top)
  • Metric M6 threaded hole network with 25 mm thread pitch (double thread density also possible)
  • Thread network hermetically sealed with nylon or stainless steel cups, so-called CleanTop technology, all threads 25 mm deep

A typical CleanTop optical table configuration consists of a top plate and a steel frame with pneumatic isolators with self-levelling function where the plate automatically holds the set plane. For applications less sensitive to vibration, the tables are also available in a rigid version without isolators. Due to the modular design, isolators can be purchased at a later date.
