Breadboard is a common term for a smaller workbench for optical or other experiments and applications. Its purpose is to provide a work surface with high flatness and typically a regular network of mounting threads. In parallel, the design of the board is to dampen and isolate mechanical vibrations, which is achieved by a special internal construction.
Types of breadboards
78 CleanTop breadboard - The highest range of optical breadboards featuring 5mm thick top and bottom steel plates to minimise deflection under load. This range is suitable for use as a conventional optical table.
77 CleanTop breadboard - Optical breadboard featuring a 3mm thick top and bottom steel plate. Suitable for applications where the board is not subjected to heavy loads without support.
75 Lightweight breadboard - Special optical board with 2mm top and bottom plate to achieve light weight. The board is ideal for mobile applications when used as a threaded work surface. Maximum board size is 1200x900 mm.
Customized solutions - Any version of the breadboard can be customized on request or we can supply a completely atypical shape of the optical board for a specific application.
