The Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) from Lakes Shore Cryotronics is an ideal tool for fast, easy and reliable measurement of magnetic parameters of samples such as hysteresis curve, permeability, magnetic moment versus field value, etc. The magnetic field is generated by an electromagnet with variable pole spacing. A model with a four-inch magnet (8604) and a model with a seven-inch magnet (8607) are available.
