Verdi's range of high-power solid-state continuous lasers have an output wavelength of 532nm and are primarily intended for use as pumping lasers, typically for example for pumping Ti:S oscillators and amplifiers. Verdi lasers are then often used for demanding applications where both a single frequency mode and high output power are required. The Verdi laser range is divided according to the technology used into Verdi G, Verdi V and Verdi C.
Verdi C
Verdi C 532 nm is a series of optically pumped semiconductor (OPS) CW lasers. The lasers are offered in 12 W, 15 W and 18 W powers, replacing the high power Verdi G laser models (12-18 W). In addition, they integrate the laser resonator, pump laser and controller in a single chassis, making them 60% smaller than the Verdi G!!! series - all while maintaining robustness and reliability.
Verdi G
The series based on OPSL (optically pumped semiconductor laser) technology is available in power variants of up to 10 W. A single-frequency version is also available for powers up to 5 W. Thanks to OPSL technology, the "green noise" typical of multimode DPSS lasers is suppressed.
Verdi V
Solid-state, diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 lasers operating at 2nd harmonic frequency (532nm) with unmatched lowest output noise <0.02% RMS. This series is based on DPSS technology and is available in power variants up to 18W. All models are available in a single-frequency version.
