The Quantaurus-QY compact spectrometer from Hamamatsu is designed for the measurement of absolute quantum yield of luminescence, emission and excitation spectra and color. It uses an absolute quantum yield method and therefore does not require measurements with a reference standard. The individual components of the instrument (150 W Xe lamp with motorized monochromator, integrating sphere, cooled multi-channel CCD detector, electronics) are integrated in a robust protective housing. Key features include high measurement speed and easy operation. It is suitable for different sample types (solutions, powders, thin films). Liquid samples can be cooled with liquid nitrogen up to 77 K.
