Hamamatsu 's microfocus X-raylamps contain an additional system that focuses the electron beam to an extremely small point on the anode. The focusing trace from which the X-rays emerge is only a few micrometres in diameter. The X-ray beam is a divergent cone with a sharp point.
Key features
- Micrometer focal footprint on the anode
- Integrated high-voltage power supply
- External control via RS-232C interface
- Resolution down to 0.25 µm(L10711-03)
- High output beam stability(L9631)
Application
- CT, X-ray tomography
- X-ray defectoscopy
- X-ray microscopy
