Coherent 's Axon femtosecond lasers are used in a wide range of applications. From life sciences, imaging, metrology, 2-photon microscopy to nanofabrication. High reliability and uniform design across different wavelengths make the integration process easy. In addition, all models feature enhanced functionality in the form of dispersion pre-compensation as well as fast power control capabilities (TPC version).
Axon lasers are ultrafast sources with discrete wavelengths. With outputs at 780 nm, 920 nm and 1064 nm, they are a great help in multiphoton microscopy, especially for "label-free" imaging and for imaging all popular fluorescent proteins or calcium indicators. We can also offer an FL module with an in-fiber version for the 920 model. All Axon models can be upgraded with a fast output power modulation (TPC) function, where they have a built-in modulator for fast power change and control. Plug-and-play operation is also a big advantage and is common to all models. Axon lasers are air-cooled and require no maintenance, contributing to long life and low running costs.
