Imaging spectrograph and ICCD camera for LIBS applications

Assembly of an imaging spectrograph and intensified camera to obtain spectra with temporal resolution ≤ 2ns.

The spectrograph shall be of the motorised Czerny Turner type, with one input and two outputs, equipped with at least 4 gratings and adapted for a wavelength range of at least 200 nm into the NIR region.

The ICCD camera shall have a chip with a width of at least 1200 active pixels and a height of at least 500 active pixels and a photocathode for the 200-800 nm range with a quantum efficiency (QE) of over 15 % at maximum

The ICCD camera and the spectrograph shall be usable independently of each other, but shall also be directly compatible (the ICCD camera shall be connectable to one of the spectrograph outputs) in order to perform time-resolved spectroscopy.

The ICCD and the spectrograph shall be operable with the same supplied software.

Kymera imaging spectrograph, specifically the KYMERA-328i-B2 model with one input and two outputs, motorized control, and the ability to insert up to 4 grids. The output ports were configured to connect an iStar ICCD camera, model DH340T-18U-03, all from Andor.

Both items are controllable by the same software.

We supplied a complete system including all the components needed to operate the system, and installation and operator training was also included.
