At the end of April this year, the LASER World of PHOTONICS 2022 exhibition took place in Munich, this time in an even-numbered year as a replacement for the cancelled 2021 edition. So we had the chance to visit all our suppliers again after a long time, talk to them, see what's new and find out what's new in the world of photonics in general. So we are happy to share the busy information and will be gradually bringing you product news from our suppliers in the next issues of our newsletter.
Like other visitors, we couldn't resist taking a photo at the Coherent booth with the prototype mirror for the James Webb Space Telescope. This mirror is the only one left on earth, the others are already serving their purpose in space. It was a nice demonstration of what Coherent brings together in its large format optics division.
