In September this year, we managed to organize a company weekend with family members in the picturesque area of Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland. We were already quite a large group, the youngest participant was only 9 months old, but even this did not deter us from hiking activities, which often required carrying a stroller over mountains and mines, literally and literally. In the evenings, we deservedly traded hiking boots and mountain crossings for social activities, barbecues and beer tastings on tap.
The hiking activities included adrenaline experiences. Under the supervision of an experienced colleague we went on a training ferrata called Kavárnička. Most of us, including small children, made the ascent to the saddle at a height of 12 m. Knocking down, they did really well, quite often better than the adults themselves. Fortunately, we could blame our shaky knees on the not too kind and cold weather.
All participants deserve a big thank you and praise for the physical feats they demonstrated. We hope to conquer more adrenaline challenges next time.
