This year we did not break the already established tradition and took part in a team sports event on bicycles. The route along the Elbe River was again the winner of the possible proposals. We continued last year's event and set out to conquer another section of the Elbe cycle path.
This time we started in Roudnice nad Labem, rode along the other side of the Elbe than last year, had lunch in Litoměřice and continued on through the Žernosecká vineyards, the ruins of the medieval castle Střekov to the town of Ústí nad Labem. Our destination was the Na Rychtě brewery. We must really praise them for the beer and the food!
Late in the day we managed a walk through the town and to the local lookout tower Větruša.
All in all, we covered exactly 100 km (there and back) and added another visited brewery to our collection with a tasting of local beers after our sporting performance.
The event was successful again this year, the weather was really good and instead of the announced rain and clouds we had sunshine almost all day. I have to thank the whole team for what a sporting performance they gave. And kept the company dress code!
