Light microscopy is an indispensable method in biological research.
Microscopes can take stunning images that capture the diversity of the microworld, but it is essential for scientists to extract meaningful information from these images.
In the Central Laboratory of Cellular Imaging(CELLIM) at the Central European Institute of Technology CEITEC of Masaryk University in Brno, under the leadership of Dr. Milan Ešner, these activities have been going on for some time and now they have decided to organize an ONLINE COURSE focused on the PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS OF BIOLOGICAL IMAGES.
This course is intended for all biologists who would like to learn how to extract quantitative information from their microscopic data.
The course will run from 11-13 November in the form of an online seminar, not only will the basics of standard image processing methods be discussed, but part of the course will be devoted to the analysis of live cell imaging experiments, particularly tracking objects over time.
During this three-day seminar, various software platforms for image data processing will be introduced, including the analytical software IMARIS, which will be presented to the course participants by Dr. Daniel Reisen, EMEA sales manager from Bitplane.
This online course is FREE, but the number of participants is limited.
Registration is possible using the QR code on the attached poster.
