Quantel Laser has recently announced a "Bright Ideas Competition" for all potential laser users (scientists, students, engineers, entrepreneurs, etc.) for the opportunity to win 30.000,-USD to purchase a laser from their portfolio. All this is held under the auspices of The Optical Society Foundation (OSAF ) and the results will be announced at the CLEO conference in May in San Jose, USA (14-19 May 2017, San Jose, CA, USA).
What does the competition consist of?
Simply submit a proposal requesting your intended use of Quantel's laser system. Originality, feasibility, contribution will be evaluated by an independent group of reviewers. Submission of proposals can be from commercial or non-commercial spheres, and is not limited to either the area of research or the area of commercial application. Proposals will be accepted until 1 March 2017.
