Even more intelligent. Even more flexible. That's the new version of IMARIS 9.9.

The currently released version of Imaris 9.9 analysis software features a new image segmentation technique for pixel classification of microscopy data, powered by the user-friendly Fiji Labkit plugin. The addition of machine learning pixel classification with an intuitive and interactive training mode to Imaris allows for segmentation of electron microscope images and recognition of diverse shapes, dizzyingly expanding further the possibilities of image analysis.

Imaris 9.9 is the most flexible version ever. It facilitates interfacing between open source software packages and Imaris by directly importing labeled images or position data - either as Surfaces or Spots.

Key features of the new Imaris 9.9:

  • New segmentation method with machine learning
  • Training a pixel classifier with a few brush strokes
  • Import of segmentation results (labeled images) created in other software packages
  • Importing data from open source software MaMut and TrackMate
  • Bio-formats for reading files
