Edinburgh Instruments, the world's leading manufacturer of luminescence spectrometers, has introduced a new version of its popular FLS1000 fluorimeter for measurements in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region of the spectrum. Since VUV radiation (~10 nm to ~200 nm) is absorbed by air, maintaining vacuum conditions is essential for the spectrometer to function properly.
The FLS1000-VUV is available in 4 basic configurations:
Designation | Excitation range, detection | Measurement mode |
FLS1000-VUV-SVS2-s | VUV excitation & VIS detection | Steady state |
FLS1000-VUV-SVS2-st | VUV excitation & VIS detection | Steady state & TCSPC (fluorescence lifetime) |
FLS1000-VUV-SVSV-s | VUV excitation & VUV detection | Steady state |
FLS1000-VUV-SVSV-st | VUV excitation & VUV detection | Steady state & TCSPC (fluorescence lifetime) |
Key Features:
