More OptiXs action on wheels!

As it has become a good habit, and we can say in fact a tradition within our 7 years of operation, we went to a team sports event on bicycles this year as well. We had countless ideas, but in the end the route along the Elbe to the royal city of Litoměřice won out. To lighten the load and motivate our untrained colleagues, the start of the route was tactically chosen in Melnik, but it still meant 50 km in one trip. The goal was set at Biskupský pivovar U sv. Štěpána to replenish our energy and supplies for the return trip the next day.

I must mention that this year the event had several highlights. Firstly, a record number of 11 of us rode, the most of any cycling event so far.

Then we had a colleague with us, who is a sports theoretician in body and soul, but the last time he sat on a bike was 15 years ago. And he did it brilliantly.

And finally we interspersed the event with a beautiful night walk through the historic centre of Litoměřice.

It was a great event, the weather was perfect and we got so excited that we will repeat the rounds again this year. So we have a lot to look forward to.
