A DDG (Digital Delay Generator), or integrated digital delay generator, is an electronic component used in high-speed photodetectors (e.g., intensified cameras) in imaging applications to enable precise synchronization of the camera with the rest of the system. The DDG provides precisely timed delays in triggering ("triggering"), synchronization, and delay of the experiment.
