Cryostation S

Cryostation S is a series of low vibration, closed-cycle optical helium cryostats. The cryostat is capable of temperatures ranging from 3.2 K to 350 K with vibrational stability up to 5nm (peak-peak) and thermal stability up to 10 mK. The individual models of the series differ mainly in the size of the sample space.

The complete system includes a control unit, cryostat, user interface, vacuum pump, thermometers and temperature controllers.

The cryostat is manufactured by Montana Instruments, a North American company that specializes in the production of precise and innovative optical measuring instruments for laboratory and industrial conditions. It is represented in Europe by Quantum Design.
