The German company Physik Instrumente is definitely not slowing down and is coming out with several new products at once!
Let's take it in order...
The first new product is the highly dynamic Tip/Tilt platform V-931 PIMag. This is the first tip/tilt platform with direct oscillating coil drive, which allows identical motion in two rotational axes θX and θY with a tilt range of ± 35 mrad thanks to parallel kinematics. 
Four linear optical encoders provide non-contact direct position measurement, the low profile ensures the compactness of the entire design and the low weight and frictionless motion make these tip/tilt platforms particularly suitable for applications that require high motion dynamics and high speeds with a limited positioning range.

We'll stay with tip/tilt platforms for a while... The second, slightly more robust, innovation is the A-523 PIglide - a high-precision tip/tilt platform with direct drive and air bearings allowing ±1° rotation in θX and θY in the Z-axis direction.

Now for a different story... Another new product that PI has recently introduced is the V-308 from the popular PIFOC series. This is a high-precision microscope lens positioning system that allows an adjustable positioning range along the optical axis of the lens of up to 7 mm with accuracy down to the nanometer level.
Another of the many advantages is, for example, the adjustable integrated magnetic weight compensation, which makes it possible to keep the position vertically aligned with the axis of motion up to a load of 1 kg, even without the presence of additional forces. Direct drive by an oscillating coil ensures high dynamics and speed over the entire positioning range and high scanning frequencies.

The latest news is sure to please anyone who focuses primarily on applications such as metrology, photonics alignment, laser diode research, optical element positioning or cleanroom measurements. It is a miniature linear axis with direct drive oscillating coil and air bearings, model A-142 PIglide. Thanks to the air bearings, ultra-precise positioning with perfect motion dynamics and virtually unlimited lifetime is ensured even for a high number of working cycles.
